2020 Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival Moved to Oct. 22-25

March 13, 2020

FORT WORTH, Texas – March 13, 2020 – Today the Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival announced that it is postposing the seventh annual festival to Oct. 22-25, 2020. In cooperation with the Tarrant County Public Health Department, and in support of overall community health in the reality of coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, the festival has taken immediate action.

“While the decision to postpone the festival was difficult to make, our board is focused on long-term impact and support of our city,” said Russell Kirkpatrick, festival co-founder. “Our festival can still be hosted – just later in the year. We look forward to welcoming guests, participants and volunteers in October.”

All ticket holders for the now-postponed April dates have the opportunity to be refunded the purchase price of their ticket. Purchasers will be notified via email by March 19, 2020, with specific instructions on how to request a refund.

About Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival

The Fort Worth Food + Wine Festival is North Texas’ most celebrated cuisine and beverage festival, taking place over four days and nights in venues around our thriving culinary community. The festival’s growing roster of talented chefs and food artisans as well as craft brewers and distinctive vintners bring a range of tastes, styles and methods that reflect the diversity of the city itself. But it’s more than good food and good fun – it’s a good cause. Proceeds from the festival go to the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds for local grant programs and culinary scholarships. To date, the foundation has awarded more than $200,000 in scholarships to deserving students from Fort Worth. For more information about the festival and foundation, visit FWFWF.com.
